PCM Group collaborated with Pilbara Port Authority to deliver a comprehensive range of services aimed at refurbishing and enhancing the structural integrity of the wharf facility.
These services included: high-pressure hydro blasting, abrasive blasting, advanced scaffolding and encapsulation, protective coating applications, wrapping systems, and fabrication works.
The refurbishment of 240 full piles, each pile refurbishment consisting of weld repairs and jacket installation, blasting, painting, and the application of wrapping systems.
Our certified NACE inspectors provided specialist expertise to the Pilbara Ports, highlighting several extensive repairs required to the structural piles and headstocks after high-pressure blasting revealed structural degradation of the wharf area.
The project was valued at $5.4 million and was successfully completed in 2022.
